Asahi Super Dry Picks Havas as Global Creative Agency Partner

Asahi Europe & International has named Havas as its global creative agency for Asahi Super Dry, covering markets outside of Japan.

The decision follows a competitive pitch process, launched in September and facilitated by AAR, where Havas outperformed rival agencies adam&eveDDB, Dentsu Creative, and McCann.

Małgorzata Lubelska, Category and Global Brands Director at Asahi Europe & International, commented: “Strategically and creatively, Havas impressed the team throughout a rigorous pitch process. We’re excited to embark on this next chapter of growth together.”

Mark Whelan, Havas UK Chairman and Group Chief Creative Officer, who will lead the global creative efforts for the brand, shared his enthusiasm: “Asahi Super Dry is an iconic brand that deserves a place among the world’s top 10 beers. We’re thrilled to have been chosen as its global creative partner and look forward to helping achieve that ambition. It’s also my personal favorite beer, which makes this even more exciting.”

The account will be managed by Havas London, supported by the Havas Creative Network in key local markets.
